The front desk person, Ms. Vee, was the one bright spot for me. She’s amazing, a beautiful person inside and out, and I’d give her 💯 stars if I could. The rest of the place was a hot mess. Roaches were everywhere, even in the elevator, and the carpet needs to be removed. Dog poop was all over the grassy areas. I stepped in some on my way across the street to the smoke shop. When I complained, the response was that she could say something every day and it did no good. Management should post a notice and add $25 a week to dog owners’ bills if they don’t clean up after their dogs, because someone has to deal with it. I walked around the other 3 hotels on the same road to see whether they had the same problem. None did, so it seems their management keeps on top of things to make sure guests are happy. The GM could do much better. She’s not suited to the role, in my opinion, and it seems the hotel is in such a mess they don’t care who holds the job as long as someone does. I could say more, but after reading other reviews I don’t think I’m the only unhappy guest. I’m sure I’ll get the usual apology saying they hope I’ll return so they can make it right. Ms. Vee, I’m sorry you have to work under such a bad GM.

Absolutely terrible, except for Tiffany. She was wonderful, the only bright spot, and I think making her manager could improve a lot. The manager Stacey was extremely rude and unprofessional. When we arrived, there was pee in and on the toilet, so the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned. We found lots of roaches, dead and alive, mold in the kitchen drawer and under the sink, and a broken door lock. The hallways and rooms smelled like weed and dirty wet dog. Coffee makers, irons, and hairdryers listed as amenities weren’t available, and housekeeping was only on staff twice a week. Most people staying there seemed to live there. Police arrested someone right after we checked in. It felt more like a homeless shelter than a hotel. I don’t recommend staying there at all.

Moriah at the front desk always welcomed me after work and looked out for me. The housekeepers and maintenance men also kept my room clean and made sure the heaters and TV channels were up to date. I’m new to Ohio and starting over here, and after nearly a month, the staff feel like my new family. They’re friendly, and whenever I ask for something, they help with a smile. I hope corporate considers upgrading the place to bring in more guests.

We left and found another hotel because nobody was at the desk, and I want my money back. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. There were pills on the nightstand, in the drawers, and on the floor, plus cigarette burns on the bed and in the bathroom. Cockroaches were all over, the beds smelled awful, and the mattresses had nasty stains. There were spills everywhere and mildew beneath the counters and sink. This place should be condemned.

I never expected to end up writing a positive review, but new management changed my experience. Mrs. stacy, Mrs. V, and Mrs.tiffany at the front desk made the stay comfortable and easy, and they dealt with any problems I had right away. We first came because our home wasn't ready when we needed it, and what was supposed to be two weeks stretched to a little over a year. If I ever need a place again, I'll come back, knowing I'll be welcomed by friendly faces and great people, and that the rooms have been revamped. Thank you for everything. Sincerely, Room 201 🙏🏽
