We stayed in the Tower Room, where the comfortable bed and sunset view made for a lovely night. The garden roses were blooming, and the outdoor spaces were nice too. Kathleen, our kind host, told us about the house’s history as a home and antique shop. Anyone who enjoys antiques can spend time looking through the curated collections in the rooms. Breakfast was scrumptious, with coffee and juice refilled whenever we wanted. Kudos to the chef. We found it well located for our way to the Tunnel Hill Bike Trail and Garden of the Gods hiking area. Treat yourself, or bring friends and rent all the rooms, just make sure they can handle the stairs.

I work in the area each week between trips that last hours, and staying here is a great respite. Kathleen, the proprietor, is sweet, welcoming, and accommodating. Her grandson commutes in to cook, and he’s a chef par-excellence. The place is beautiful, with period furnishings, decorations, and details throughout. I always enjoy visiting and hope to bring my family along.

Ms. Kathleen was attentive while my husband and I were staying here. She showed me around and explained the home’s history and the many antiques. It felt like a step back in time. Breakfast was delicious, and she even gave me the recipe to make it at home. A lovely place to stay while passing through.

We spent our anniversary celebrating the day we became a couple, and this was the best place my husband and I have ever stayed. The hostess made us an awesome breakfast, and it was worth every penny. The stunning house has so much charm and so many antiques. There are lots of suites, each with its own bathroom, and everything was very clean. We’ll be back!

We were delighted by breakfast the next morning. I’d expected something continental, but got an inventive, delicious meal instead: pumpkin waffles, a cinnamon and vanilla topping, and yummy coffee made for an easy start. The ham, eggs, and potatoes had a great twist too. Dinner had pleasant surprises as well, and DiMaggio's gets high grades. We split our trip from Madison Wisconsin to Nashville and found this place off the beaten path. The classy period furnishings were lovely, and the staff were cordial and helpful. Thanks for exceeding expectations. Papa G approved 💝
