The staff were excellent and ready to help, and the people running the food program clearly care about the breakfast. The rooms are spacious, and the kitchenettes are nicely equipped. That made for a good experience, but I’m unlikely to stay again because of the bedding. We were in room 218, and the bed by the outer wall was worn and hard, with vertical ridges that made it impossible to get comfortable. The pillows looked nice but flattened to about the depth of a Dollar Tree yoga mat once I put my head down. Over two nights I may have slept 10 hours because of how uncomfortable it all was.

The rooms were quiet and so well insulated that we heard NOTHING, despite being close to everything we might need. It was the cleanest hotel we’ve ever stayed in, with soft towels, comfortable beds, a big bathroom, and wonderful water pressure. Staff were pleasant and genuine, and they engaged with guests beyond small talk. Breakfast was fresh and looked like REAL food, not frozen and heated, with something for every dietary need. The room had a fridge bigger than a dorm fridge but smaller than a full-size one, a dishwasher, small cooktop, all the dishes and silverware we could need, and bolster pillows on the sofa. There were more device plug-ins and outlets than I’ve seen in any hotel, and the fold-out hooks by the door were great. The elevators were clean and not musty. Outside there were two huge grills, plus a pool and fitness center. Iron and lots of hangers in the room too. Very affordable, please don’t change that. We’ll be back. They sell treats up front, even ice cream.

Richard gives top-notch attention and service, and that’s a big reason I keep choosing this particular Towneplace whenever I visit the area. Ellie is a joy too, and I always look forward to her warm, cheerful greetings. The staff make it easy to choose Sam’s place again and again. I’ll be back.

I’ve heard train horns at least 12 times since I got here at 5:00 p.m., and it’s now 10:30 p.m. The rooms are super clean and the staff are very friendly. My complaint is the TV placement: it’s on the wall beside the beds instead of in front of them, which seems silly. There’s only a picture on the wall opposite the bed. In my opinion, that was a bad decision.
