Quality Inn Fairfield

The room was fairly clean, though there was men’s hair in the sink. I didn’t bring it up because I felt I’d already given the man a hard time and expected he’d blame me for smoking and keep my money. The hallway and area outside my room smelled of marijuana, but it wasn’t my room. When I checked in, the attendant was rude and seemed to be setting things up to hold on to my deposit. He claimed I’d ordered a king room, though I disagreed, and called me a liar when I said I’d called the hotel to report I’d be late. I’d called the number on the Fairfield hotel line. He said nobody else answers it, and that the man I spoke to had told me the room could be changed without a fee. This attendant then charged $20 to give me a different room. His wife later said I wouldn’t get my deposit back because my room smelled like marijuana. I’ll never go back.
