Delano Homestead Bed & Breakfast

The room was wonderful, and after three nights I felt completely at home. I'd never stayed at a B&B before, but finding the Delano for a wedding weekend turned out to be such a happy surprise. I loved wandering around the house and taking in its special history and the area around it. The waterfront and the library donated by Mark Twain are close by, too. John and Tracy were incredible hosts, and the stay made the whole weekend unforgettable. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to experience historic Fairhaven. I took photos and posted them on social media, and I'll share them here.

Paul, the owner, and Tracey, the house manager, were wonderful to talk with. The place felt like home, just without my kids running around 😅. The roughly 200-year-old house is beautifully maintained and clean, with all its character intact while still being comfortable. I spent a full week here on a business trip. It was easy to find, and there was plenty of street parking for arriving by car. Thanks again, Paul and Tracey. Maybe I'll see you here next time, or somewhere else.

We keep coming back to this lovely B&B in an historic building, and every visit has been pleasant. My wife and I have stayed here several times over the past decade. Fairhaven is a cute town, with historic places like the Millicent Library, shops, and restaurants all walkable from downtown. It's also a quiet place to spend the night and a handy base for visiting Cape Cod towns.

We booked every room so our family could gather for the weekend, with relatives coming in from all over. Beth helped make sure everyone felt welcome and comfortable. People couldn't believe we'd found such a gem. The historic home is beautiful and nicely furnished, and both the waterfront and Fairhaven town center are an easy walk away. Clean, comfortable, historic, and welcoming, it had what we needed.
