Spark by Hilton Dothan

The mattress was so comfortable, and the hotel was clean and really nice. Staff were amazing, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. One issue for anyone with a disability: getting to the refrigerator can be difficult, and there’s no microwave in the room, only one in the lobby. Thanks for a nice stay.

Suite 309 was huge, with comfortable beds and pillows and great lighting. There’s a refrigerator in the suite, but the microwave is downstairs by the lobby snack area. Breakfast was continental, which isn’t really my thing, though it’s still food. The hotel has lovely landscaping and modern decor in the lobby. It’s newly renovated and joined the Hilton brand when it opened on September 12, 2025, so ignore those older reviews. I was pleasantly surprised by the staff, especially Nicole and Lisa. Great stay for a great price!

The staff were great, check-in was easy, and the lobby was clean. It was a nice hotel for our one-night stay, and I’d come back if I needed a place in the area. Breakfast was very basic, though. I was a little disappointed there weren’t hot waffles. Toast and bagels were the only things they heated.

We stayed at Spark in Dothan last night with two toddlers and a dog, and it worked out really well. Cleanliness and convenience matter most to me at hotels, and this place checked both boxes. I’d read that ownership had recently changed to Hilton, and the hotel definitely felt up to Hilton standards. Thanks!
