The room had a musty, funky smell, and the promise of Netflix on the TV was misleading because it wasn't connected to the internet. We ordered two chicken strip dinners and a Coke through room service. When they arrived, the bottom of the container was so hot that my daughter dropped both meals on the floor. The buffalo sauce spilled all over the food, even though I'd asked for none, and the Coke never came. We cleaned up and went to bed. In the morning, all the staff could say was that they were sorry and it wouldn't happen again. I won't be back, I'll stay at the Drury Inn next time.

For the convenience, the hot breakfast seemed like good value. It cost about $12 for one adult and included options like eggs, bacon, and waffles, with omelettes available too. Just be aware it isn't free breakfast. I thought this was a good place to spend a night in the area. When I arrived on Wednesday evening, nobody was at the front desk, and I couldn't see a bell or anything to let staff know I was waiting to check in. After several minutes, an employee came out.

The room was spacious, and the beds were comfortable. Most of the room was nice, though it could have been cleaner: there was food under a chair cushion. The front desk team were polite, helpful, and nice. The buffet breakfast host was pleasant and kept the dining area clean and presentable. She even served us at our table. I'd recommend staying here.

My hotel booking was canceled when I arrived today, 11/15, because of overbooking through booking.com, so I can't give five stars for the hotel or its rooms. The woman who helped me is why I'm giving five stars. She was so sweet and empathetic, and tried to call other hotels for me even though she didn't have to. I was having a rough morning, and it's my birthday tomorrow, so her kindness meant a lot. I found a room at the Hyatt, which is amazing and has a wow view. I wish I'd gotten her name. She's a real jewel, and they're lucky to have her.

The stay was uncomfortable, and even after I wrote to the property manager, I received no compensation. The receptionist did offer to move us, but by then my family had gone to sleep after I arranged a late checkout. I'd suggest avoiding this property. The room was in poor shape and didn't meet the standards I expected. The toilet seat was broken, and the bathroom door stuck when opening and closing. The bathroom was untidy, and the towels were stained. The replacements were stained too. I also found a used hair band in the room, which suggested it hadn't been cleaned properly before we arrived. I haven't had an experience like this with my family in a long time.
