The portions were huge, and the food was really good. The mac and cheese could easily be a meal on its own, though I’d dare you to finish the whole thing by yourself. We stopped in on a Saturday after pumpkin picking, and it was moderately busy. There were open tables, but our server still insisted we wait for more to open up, which kept me from rating the visit higher.

The former executive chef, who now owns the place, is clearly doing things right. I had the French dip, with soft, warm bread toasted enough to hold the perfectly cooked Wagu beef, sauteed onions, and melted Swiss. It was the best French dip I can imagine. This place is great.

The owners made us feel right at home with such gracious hospitality. We started with the fondue and pretzel appetizers, both outstanding, and the steak bites were tender and full of flavor. The Roadhouse in Falls City is a real hidden gem. Great food, genuine service, and a welcoming atmosphere made for a memorable meal. I highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

Our server helped us work around a dietary restriction, and the dishes we could order were delicious. We had a great meal, and the service was wonderful. Thank you!

Service was superb, and the bathrooms were clean and well maintained. The drink was good too, and very full. The food was delicious: my pesto pasta came with spiral noodles, the fish had a very light, super crunchy coating and was tender, and the slaw went nicely with it. The kids burger and fries were great for $11, cooked to medium perfection, though quite hot when it arrived. The fries were plentiful and crunchy. I skipped the pricey protein additions to my pasta since I’d already had some of the other dishes, plus a well dirty martini. Garlic bread would have been lovely with the pesto, especially for mopping up the sauce, but it came without. The bread smelled divine when it was delivered to the next table, and we had plenty of carbs from the fries anyway. This is a nicer restaurant with little for kids beyond that burger and fries. One thing to know, Google's closing time is actually the last seating time. I hope we make it back soon to try other menu items.
