At the front desk, Adam's manner felt dismissive and unwelcoming. When I went to him with questions, his tone and body language made me feel like helping me was a bother. That left me uneasy about asking for anything during the rest of my stay, which isn't how a paying guest should feel. Front desk interactions set the tone, and customer service matters a lot in a hotel. I hope ownership addresses this, since a warmer, more professional attitude would make a big difference. My stay at Candlewood Suites was uncomfortable because of this experience with Adam.

Our hockey team had a good stay here. The hotel was reasonably clean and in fair shape, and the location made getting to the tournament easy. The staff were kind and accommodating, so it worked well for our group.

The warm pool was a hit with my grandson, and we both slept well in a clean, quiet room with a really comfortable bed. The front desk staff were welcoming and even reminded us that our dog is always welcome if we return. We definitely plan to stay here again when we're in Fargo.

After eight days, I had to take my own trash downstairs because nobody had come to empty it. Some staff barely said hello, and there seemed to be plenty going on besides work, so management should check in on the desk team now and then. The room itself was nice, though the couch and shower showed wear and could use a better cleaning. The main reason I rated service four stars was the kind older woman working evenings. She was friendly, helpful, and full of useful information.

The mattresses were the one real problem. With two adults in the bed, we both sank toward the middle. Everything else, including the staff, was fantastic.
