The Farmington Inn & Suites

My room was comfortable and clean, with a fridge but no microwave. There’s a gym, breakfast, and some fun things to do if you want to spend time hanging around the inn, as the photos show. Food options are within walking distance, too. The atmosphere is friendly and the staff are lovely. I’d happily recommend it.

We came from Boston without knowing the area, and Stephen went out of his way to point out local sights. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, and the coffee and tea available around the clock was a nice touch. We also loved the cookies, plus the afternoon wine and cheese. Staying at this beautiful inn in winter was cozy, and there’s plenty to do nearby. We’ll definitely be back to the Farmington Inn!

The staff helped make my wedding day extra special. The manager let me and my family check in early, including my family’s rooms and the bridal suite. A big shoutout to Chrissy at the front desk: she was amazing, brought breakfast while the girls were getting ready, and even lent her chair to my makeup artist. She was fabulous and so helpful, absolutely deserving of five stars. Thank you all!

The building is a little dated, but it’s quaint and well looked after. My suite had a wood-framed honeymoon-style bed, a marble-floored bathroom, and everything I needed to be comfortable. Breakfast runs from 6 to 10 a.m., and the orange juice was real, not the cheap powder-mixed kind. The young man at the front desk was friendly and very helpful from the beginning. I also liked the lobby machine that grinds fresh coffee beans and makes cappuccino or latte, something I haven’t seen even in four- or five-star hotels. Starbucks, a liquor store, and two restaurants are across the street. I enjoyed the stay, and if my company wins a big nearby project, I’ll recommend it to my colleagues.
