Hampton Inn & Suites Hartford/Farmington

We've used this hotel on visits to family in the area, and past stays were fine. This time, though, our room was noisy, apparently because of a party below us. The shower wouldn't turn off all the way and kept dripping loudly. Staff at the front desk were polite and accommodating, and moved us to a quieter room so we could sleep. The next morning, the shower was barely warm and the water pressure was very low. For the room price, we expected a hot shower, especially on a cold winter day. Between switching rooms over the noise and then having a cold shower, the stay was really disappointing. I think we'll look for other options.

We stayed over the holidays and had a great time here, especially for the price and the area. The suite was large, the bed comfy, and the location quiet. Breakfast was decent, the gym was small but well stocked, and the staff were friendly. Parking was easy and free, and the grounds were nice and well lit. We often find some feature at other hotels doesn't match the photos or expectations, but all the basics were covered here. No complaints from us, and we'll stay again when we're back. Thanks for a great visit!

I needed a pet-friendly place for one night after arriving at an awful Airbnb, and this hotel booked me and my dog late at night right away. They were accommodating, and the room was clean and quiet. It was beside a side door, so I could take my dog straight out to a grassy area without walking past people or other pets. The area felt safe and peaceful. I'd absolutely stay here again if I'm in the area, 10/10 recommend.

Jay at the front desk made my stay so enjoyable. He has a genuinely warm way of welcoming people, and meeting him was an absolute joy. Hampton by Hilton should be proud to have him. I hope they move him into a leadership role and make sure he stays. Kudos to Jay!
