The main thing this unit had going for it was the location. The apartment building felt very old and dated, and our 24th floor unit badly needed renovation. It was dirty too: the bathroom and old tub were grimy, the floor wasn't clean, and dust covered the otherwise nice balcony. We were glad to have sandals. Getting to the parking garage on the seventh floor took a long time each time, and its narrow turns made driving through it feel unsafe. For the first three nights, our key fob didn't work, so we had to ask the front desk to let us through the doors. I'd booked for a week, but after four days I moved elsewhere because I couldn't enjoy the place. I won't book it again.

For what we paid, I expected a well-kept, clean place, but this felt neglected and wasn't worth the price. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The blankets looked disgusting, as if they hadn't been washed after the previous guests. The floors were dirty when we arrived, the ceiling was cracked, and the place didn't seem properly prepared. In one of the two bathrooms, the sink didn't work, which was inconvenient for our group. The advertised heated outdoor pool wasn't heated at all.

The condo office seemed out of touch with what was happening in the building, including giving false information about whether construction permits had been granted and what work was approved. Of the six elevators, only two seemed to work, and some of the buttons were unreliable. With so many Airbnb hosts in the building, waits can exceed ten minutes around 10:30-11:30am and anytime after 4:00pm just to get an elevator. I don't recommend it.

The views over the water and city were great, and the location was hard to beat. CVS, 7/11, and an alcohol store are right downstairs, and our huge balcony had lots of seats. The full kitchen was useful, the space suited us for the price, and the staff were lovely, always smiling and joking with us. We also enjoyed the pools, though one was quite dirty while the other was really clean. A couple of things could've been better: the floors were pretty dirty and there wasn't a Swiffer or anything in the condo. The shower was also backing up a bit.

We'd come back for the location. Restaurants, the River Walk, and the nightlife around S Miami Ave were all an easy walk away. From our condo on the 36th floor, the views were great, and the host was good. Check-in was easy too. Unit 3614 was clean but outdated. Parking was a struggle with an SUV because the way down was so narrow, and it took us ten minutes.
