Red Roof Inn & Suites Fayetteville - Fort Bragg

The bed in my first room was at least clean, but the chair was broken and the TV didn't work. The second room had cigarette burns in the sheets, another broken TV, and a toilet that wouldn't flush properly. I didn't enjoy the stay, and breakfast wasn't good either, just about two bagels and some cereal. I was in town to take an IT exam and had driven four hours to get there. I've stayed at Red Roof Inn before in VA and didn't expect this experience in Fayetteville, NC.

The breakfast was just cereal and bread, and the coffee was nearly gone with nobody making more. I couldn't get coffee for my room either, and housekeeping never came by. My first room, on the ground floor, wouldn't lock, so I had to move upstairs to the third. Then there were doors banging and people yelling all night. I was only there because my semi truck was in the shop. It seemed like the place catered to long-term residents. Easily the worst hotel stay I've had. I'd avoid it if you're in the area.

Alyssa was so kind and helpful when she got us a room at the hospital rate. I didn't even know that was an option. The room was clean, and the hotel was quiet. We had a great stay, and I'm grateful she helped us out.

I only stayed because work had booked the room. Otherwise, I'd have left, and I won't stay at a Red Roof Inn again. At 6 a.m. the people next door were screaming, and the smell of burning marijuana came in too. Smoke and marijuana odors were already overwhelming in the hall and room, despite the smoke-free signs. There were stains on the bedding, no soap, shampoo, or Kleenex, and the shower doors didn't work right. Nasty marks covered the walls and elevator. Breakfast was a joke. I also saw people who appeared to be homeless hanging around the parking area by the side door.
