TownePlace Suites Fayetteville Cross Creek

We've been here about four weeks because we've been displaced from home, and the location is great. The staff and housekeepers are all friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciate. The big problem is the laundry room. There are three washers, but only two worked when we arrived, and now just one is working. It still hasn't been fixed. Lots of people stay here long-term for work, and others are in situations like ours, so it's ridiculous to expect everyone to share one washer. The hotel should be able to get repairs done promptly. You also need quarters for the washers and dryers, but there's no change machine, and the front desk doesn't handle cash. Having to leave the hotel to find quarters is a real hassle. Please do better for your guests.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and the breakfast changed each day. We were visiting family and stayed three nights. The indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room were nice, and the older hotel was reasonably clean despite showing its age. My main other gripe was that there was no coffee in the lobby once breakfast was over. I'd stay again.

There's lots of restaurants and stores nearby, and the hospitality was great. Ms Tina B took real pride in looking after our room. She even laid out my travel blanket, which made me feel at home. She was polite, smiled when I spoke with her, and made sure I had what I needed. It was a joy staying here, and I'll definitely be back.

Hospitality alone would make me stay here again whenever I could. During my visit this past week, Ashley D in housekeeping really stood out. She's only been there a few weeks, but she was cheerful, professional, and seemed happy to help. I watched other employees pass bags of guest trash and piles of towels in the hallway. I even overheard one male housekeeper say something like, “if they ain't request it foe today I don't wanna hear it.” Ashley, though, did her job happily and helped with other things when she could. I thought she was cute at first, but her service and professionalism quickly became what impressed me. I tried to get her to come work for my company, but she politely declined. She's a real asset to the Residence Inn, cares about the business, and connects with everyone she meets. I hope to see her managing it someday.
