The elevator, hallways, and rooms literally stank. As we checked in, we had to avoid homeless people trying to keep warm on cold nights. Our door’s deadbolt and safety latch were both broken. The armchair was in such poor shape I wouldn’t have given it away; under the cushion were garbage, food, and an old room key. One light socket was held on with duct tape, and a third-floor window opened all the way. I strongly recommend driving down to Fife for a quality room at a reasonable price. It’s hard to be brutally honest about this place.

My bed was clean, and I loved the fluffy pillows, but the second bed had blood drop stains on its comforter. The bathroom was very small, the chair was nasty and needed cleaning, and there were no dark curtains to keep the sun out. The window was dirty, though you could see through it. The room number wasn’t on the door, just written in pencil on the wall. Weed smell hit me when I stepped off the elevator. When you buy cheap, you get cheap.

The free breakfast was a joke, and I was glad to get out of there. The hallway smelled of cigarette smoke, and we walked past our room because its number placard was missing, replaced by a number written on the wall in ballpoint pen. The room smelled better inside, but the refrigerator was broken and warm, trying to cycle on. The bedside lamp wouldn’t turn on because its wire was half cut and sparking. This is a gross, low-price hotel, and I don’t think they’ve done any maintenance in the past two years.

One staff member was outright rude and disrespectful most of the time, which was the only real downside. We stayed in two rooms, and both were nice, clean, and spacious, including the hot tub room. The hot tub itself needed repair because its jet controls couldn’t be adjusted, but even so, we had a very nice stay.
