The beds were extremely comfortable, and the rooms were clean. I didn't find bedbugs or anything seriously wrong. The hallway had a bit of a smell, and breakfast was very basic, though at least there was something to eat. I’d seen the negative reviews and my friends were nervous about my booking, but afterward they apologized for doubting it. It’s no luxury hotel, just a clean place to stay. The pool was heated, though small 😂. Every room is different, so hopefully this helps anyone who's also seen the bad reviews.

The bathroom was pretty clean, at least. The room itself was okay, and the sheets looked clean, but the comforter had some very fresh-looking red stains. The floors felt weirdly sticky and damp. The musty mildew smell was so strong I was gagging for most of my stay. I’d hoped the reviews about the awful stench were wrong, but they weren't. I wish I were exaggerating. I wouldn't stay here again.

The noise from above us on the second night was too much, and we cut our reservation short. We had headaches after the first night. The room smelled strongly of mold, the place was run down, and it wasn't worth what we paid. The beds were broken, the bedding was stained, smelled awful, and didn't look like it had been changed in who knows how long. My girls found nothing but bandaids in the pool. The bathrooms were worse than a job site portapotty, there was rust everywhere, and we were sure there were bed bugs. We didn't get basic essentials like clean towels or toilet paper. We sure as hell weren't going to trust the breakfast, especially with a Dunkin Donuts and McDonald's nearby. What a shame. Find somewhere clean and worth the money, with attentive staff.

We were in town for Holiday World. From outside, the place looked fairly decent, and the bathroom was clean and smelled better than the bedroom. The room looked updated, but our one night in July cost $215 and it was humid with a musty smell. The next morning I found the carpet damp by the AC unit under the window, which would explain the odor. Breakfast was hot and well stocked during my visit, with some lighter options too. I probably won't stay again and will look at other places.
