Comfort Inn Pensacola - University Area

I was given a complimentary room upgrade at check-in, which I hadn't expected and really made my day. The room was comfortable and quiet, with modern furniture and bedding, a renovated bathroom, and a super comfortable bed. I'd noticed the updates since my last work trip here in 2023, when I had a nice stay too. On this visit, the fire department came because the alarm went off after some people on my floor cooked in their rooms. Apart from that, I can't complain. Thanks to the front desk staff. I'd recommend the hotel and stay again next time I'm working in Pensacola.

The room was clean, comfortable, and just as advertised. My wife and I enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel before heading out each day. We'll stay here again.

The staff were kind and helpful, and the rates are reasonable, but you get what you pay for. During our two-night stay there was no housekeeping. The bed and larger surfaces were clean, though a couple of items hadn't been cleaned properly, as shown in the short videos I attached. The room also needs better maintenance: the phone didn't work, the faucet was loose, and the plate on the door knob fell off when we opened the door. We reported it to the receptionist. The fitness center is very small, but has the basics, so we could still do our full workout.
