I left feeling that this was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The website photos don’t show how run down the property is: the ballroom and computer room were closed, and the fountain shown online was out of order and in poor shape. I also saw two men smoking outside yank the exit door open to get in, which made me question the hotel’s security. Inside, our room was extremely hot and humid because the AC wasn’t on. When I turned on the shower, blue-looking residue came from the faucet, so I had to let it run for a few minutes before using it. The sink outside the bathroom smelled very bad.

I wouldn’t stay here again. The room we ended up in was clean, not musty, and had working AC, but getting it took a while: they struggled to find the king room with a pull-out couch we’d requested, and the first one they gave us smelled strongly musty and had black mold on the door frames. We went back downstairs right away, then waited 15 minutes for another room. The lobby chairs and couch were disgusting, which also put us off eating breakfast there. The Fruit Loops we got for our son were too stale to eat. The deadbolt in our room didn’t work, and finding cable channels on the Roku TV was difficult, with no instructions to help. I’d pay a little more for a better hotel.

If there’s an event in the ballroom, I’d avoid staying here. Some lower-level rooms have sliding doors that open right into it. Also check carefully for bed bugs. For the price, it’s not worth it. I’ve stayed in cleaner, nicer hotels for less.

The noise went on all night, so we barely slept and just wanted to leave by 7 am. We didn’t even try breakfast. The room’s sliding glass door opened onto a huge conference area, which felt strange, and its broken curtain had to be rigged shut so nobody could peek in. The chairs were uncomfortable, and there was actual food on the floor, like it hadn’t been vacuumed after the previous guests. The bed was clean, thankfully, but the rest of the hotel felt dirty, including the hallway, entryway, and room. The bathroom was gross and needs to be redone. The tub was scratched and gouged, with a rusty shower head and old rust stains down the shower wall. The sink was outside the bathroom, with no towels or towel rack. Horrible experience all around.

The location was great, close to town and plenty of food, and the bed was comfortable. The room wasn’t as bad as recent reviews had led me to expect, though it smelled like cigarette smoke and could use a facelift. There was a broken chair in the corner. The shower worked, but it wasn’t pretty, and the vent was absolutely disgusting, probably never cleaned. Heat and AC both worked fine. The blinds wouldn’t close all the way, so a bright light from the building next door shone right onto the pillow area at night. At 8 am, employees went room to room slamming doors. After being out drinking until 2 am, I wanted to sleep in. I called the front desk to ask them to be more courteous, but no one answered. On another call I asked if they sold bottled water. They said they didn’t and offered a water fountain or tap water, which I had to pass on. Luckily there were plenty of nearby places to buy water. I’d probably try the La Quinta next time I’m in the area.
