Best Western La Posada Motel

The price was a great deal, and breakfast was included. Our room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the area felt safe. I’m glad my friend and I stayed here.

The orange trees around the property were a lovely touch, and the hotel itself was quaint, with clean rooms just off the main road but still quiet. After bad weather forced us from I-5 onto 101, we found conditions on 101 were rough too, so we stopped for the night. Most places we called were raising their prices because of the situation, but this place and the Marriott had reasonable rates. Since we’d already passed the Marriott, we kept going here. The front desk woman was so sweet and friendly, and even reminded us to ask about the military discount. We probably would have forgotten after the day we’d had. Breakfast was decent, checkout was easy, and we’d stay again.

The fresh fruit was my favorite part of breakfast, especially the oranges from the old Fillmore orange Grove trees. There were also eggs, sausage, potatoes, two Belgian Wafflemakers, hot and cold cereal, Danish pastries, muffins, bagels, and yogurt. I stayed in an ADA-accessible room, and it met my needs. I was visiting my Sister in Santa Paula, CA., and needed a place for the night to finish my visit. The Best Western was clean and nicely appointed, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and courteous. Stop in and enjoy beautiful Fillmore.

La Posada is clean and simple, but nice. It feels safe, and everyone treated us with respect. You can tell they take pride in managing the place.
