Quality Inn Findlay

Donna at the front desk was the best part of the stay. She was competent, friendly, and professional. We needed a pet-friendly place on a freezing night after a long drive, and the location and price were good, even with the dog fee. We had to change rooms because dirt had backed up into the tub in the first one, possibly related to renovations in an adjoining room. The replacement was very small, but it was enough shelter for one night. The bathroom was fine, though it came with three thin towels that didn't match. Most of the important outlets didn't work, so charging our devices and powering the CPAP machine was difficult. This wasn't a good stay. Maybe the property will be decent someday.

After a long drive my body was about done, so I was grateful Donna could switch me from an upstairs room to one downstairs. I have fibro and arthritis. She was very friendly, and even pointed out the pizza coupon on the key card in case I wanted to use it. The room was decent, nothing fancy, but gave my kids and me a safe place for the night. Breakfast was good, and the service was some of the nicest I've had at a hotel in a while.

I had limited funds, and Donna at the front desk found me the best available rate. She even offered to help carry my bags upstairs. There was only one room left, and of course it was upstairs, which wasn't ideal with my bad back. Donna's service was amazing. The used lotion left on the bathroom sink was a downside.

The hotel is under renovation, so it's about to be really nice there. I had a very pleasant check-in the other evening and would stay again based on that alone. Thanks to everyone for hosting us.
