SureStay Hotel by Best Western Findlay

It's under 2 miles from the downtown restaurants, and it was a safe, friendly, affordable place to spend the night. I needed a reasonably priced stop halfway between Columbus and Detroit, and this worked perfectly. The exterior could use some sprucing up, but my room was very clean and well equipped. The staff were helpful and friendly. When I mentioned I had to leave before breakfast, they made sure coffee was ready. I also had trouble figuring out the AC, and they helped quickly. It's not a five-star hotel in the true sense, but that wasn't what I needed.

Traveling through the area with kids and need an affordable, safe place to stay overnight? This should work. The rooms are in decent shape, though expect basic amenities, and you can hear the highway at night. It wasn't too intrusive for me. Breakfast is very basic, which makes sense for the price. I think this is the best-value hotel in the area.

Always clean and comfortable here, and Holly is amazing. She's respectful and a really hard worker. This place never fails to amaze me, and I can count on a peaceful, comfortable stay.

The location worked well, right by the exit and behind a delicious breakfast spot. Lots of restaurants, including Texas Roadhouse, were about five minutes away. The rooms felt modern, clean, and fresh-smelling, and the staff were super friendly. I was a little hesitant when I saw the outside, since motels usually make me wary, but I felt comfortable once I was inside. The bathroom was the one downside. The door wouldn't shut because everything had been painted over, and I think there were paint drops in the tub. It wasn't an issue with just me and my fiancé. There are a few cats wandering outside, too. They're adorable, so feel free to share some treats. If you want a cheap place without worrying about bugs or a dirty room, this is it. I'll stay here again for sure.
