The owner was very nice and helpful, and the air conditioner worked really well. But the room was dirty, smelled bad, and had writing on the door and wall. For the condition it was in, it was expensive. The toilet also seemed to have trouble flushing.

After a full day at Hershey Park, we arrived around 10:30 on 8/17 to find there was no room for us. I'd called on 8/10 to book a triple-bed room for 8/17-8/18, explained we'd check in late, and was told that was fine. I got a confirmation number, and the woman said I'd pay when I arrived. The man at check-in couldn't find the reservation, and there were no rooms left. There were nine of us, four hours from home, with nowhere to stay. They keep reservations on a mini legal pad, which may explain how mine got lost and the room was double-booked. The worst experience I've ever had.

The TV worked, but the rest of our stay was a letdown. We booked two rooms for Aug 19 and 20, 2016, and the sheets in one hadn't been changed. When we asked the office for clean ones, the man there, maybe the manager, was rude and acted as if we'd never made a bed before. We ended up buying sheets at Walmart. There were beer bottles in the trash, things in the refrigerator, and food under the bed. The breakfast tasted horrible, and after the staff cleaned on Saturday, the beer bottles were still there. Neither room's A/C worked, and they offered no compensation. I wouldn't stay there again.

The owner was really nice, but I won't be staying here again. Our room had two mattresses and a couch, and both beds had filthy sheets. The couch was broken. We asked for replacements, but two of the three sheets we got were stained and looked unwashed. There were stains and sticky patches across the carpet, and the walls looked like a child had finger-painted them. I couldn't shower because only a trickle came from the shower, and the towels and washcloths were dirty. We were told there'd be WiFi and a continental breakfast, but neither was as described: only a few rooms by the office got WiFi, and breakfast was cold coffee with stale doughnuts. I only thought to take pictures as we were leaving, after cleaning enough to make the room livable for our two nights.
