Sobe Lux

The location is great, but I wouldn't stay again or recommend the place. Walking barefoot left our feet black, the couch was visibly dirty, and we had to cover it with our own sheets to feel even a little comfortable. My pillowcase was stained, so we bought pillowcases at a local Ross. We also saw something crawling around that looked like either a roach or a water bug. Neither is okay. We ended up spending more money on basic cleaning supplies that should already have been there. Given the condition, I don't think this apartment should even be allowed in the area.

We were there for a week, and it was the worst. Water came into the apartment from upstairs, but after I told the property, nobody came to fix it right away. We had to wait until the next morning, and it still wasn't fixed. I sent photos and got no response about the damage. They also didn't provide fresh towels when we needed them. Men were lurking around the property, and one knocked on our window. With a whole bunch of girls inside, that's not okay. The staff were rude and unprofessional. I don't know how this place has good reviews, and I say don't stay here.

I spent 6 days in this lovely little space and had no complaints. Housekeeping checked in every day to see if we needed anything, and the place was very clean. The area was well lit, felt safe, and was quiet at night. It's a block from Biscayne bay, and a short walk, Uber, or car ride gets you to just about everything in South Beach. The accommodations were perfect for my first Miami trip. I'd recommend it and definitely book again.

There was no parking, so we had to use paid metered parking. The AC didn't work, and no room service was offered even though we were staying for a longer time. The bathrooms were rusty, and the flushes didn't work. With kids, we suffered a lot because of the toilets. There are also so many iguanas around the property. Overall, a pathetic experience.
