Comfort Inn Flagstaff Lucky Lane I-40

The bed was comfortable, the TV had fantastic options, and breakfast the next morning was good. The trouble was the WiFi on my floor wasn't working, and I couldn't connect to either network. I just wish my room had working WiFi.

We chose this hotel off I-40 for Thanksgiving to avoid the holiday prices in Grand Canyon Village. It was easy to find, and the clean room was a decent size for the two of us. Breakfast came with the room and was phenomenal, one of the best I've had at a place like this. I attached photos of the fresh cheese omelette and pastry, plus my misshaped waffle.

We stayed one night with our two girls. The front desk man was nice and promptly replaced the sheets on one of our beds when I asked. Breakfast was nice, and having laundry in the facility and a vending machine on the second floor was handy.

I was charged extra fees after my stay, which I won't repeat. The front desk staff were unwelcoming, and when the shift changed, the new staff didn't believe I'd stayed there. After I left a rating criticizing the front desk service, the GM apparently didn't approve. I then got an email saying I'd trashed the rooms so badly they couldn't rent them out, which was why I was charged the extra fees. I laughed when I read that. I'm very picky about cleanliness and respectful of other people's property. I won't stay there again and don't recommend it. The one bright spot was the breakfast hostess/cook, who was very kind and made a delicious breakfast.
