The hosts are kind and accommodating, and the patio and outdoor space are beautiful. The building feels quite private, with a little dining area and living room. My husband was disappointed there wasn't a TV, since I'd seen one in the photos. If you're staying more than a night, trails into state land start just outside the gate. We really liked the BnB and highly recommend it. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow, especially the fresh eggs. I'll add more afterward.

The next morning, Marnie brought us a full, delicious breakfast, mostly organic and homemade. The eggs, toast, turkey sausage, and breakfast potatoes were included too, though I forgot to take a photo. You definitely won't leave hungry. We also walked the trails right behind the place after breakfast, through the gate toward Elden Mountain. We stayed one night while driving back to Phoenix from Monument Valley. The neighborhood is quiet, and the studio sits separately behind the owners' home. Inside, there's a small table, a sitting area, a bedroom with a Queen bed, and a bathroom with a shower. Steve and Marnie met us when we arrived and showed us around. They grow a lot of their food there, and have chickens for fresh eggs. We'd stay again when we're in the Flagstaff area.

We had a great time hiking, with trails just beyond the back gate, and the price was very fair. Marnie made a wonderful breakfast with lots of homemade things, including yogurt, seed cake, jams, and eggs from their chickens. It was just what we needed after relying on convenient road trip food. Marnie and Steve are such a kind couple, and they were accommodating and lovely to talk with. Elden trails had everything we wanted from a bed and breakfast. I hope I can stay there again, and I'd recommend it to friends and family.

The trail behind the property went right to the nearby campsite, where our family was staying, which worked out perfectly. We spent six peaceful, enjoyable days here. Everything was clean, and it was an ideal place for us. Our young daughter got to see the chickens on the property, and Steve and Marnie were so sweet with all of us. They made a great breakfast every morning and were wonderful, accommodating hosts. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

There isn't a kitchen or kitchen sink in the guest house, just a mini fridge and toaster oven. There is a Berkey water filter, electric kettle, and a cabinet with tea, coffee, and dishes. The place is comfortable, but don't expect modern amenities. We loved the quiet setting, homegrown food, and nature right outside the door. The guest house backs onto the Coconino Forest, with trails out the back gate. The garden has herbs and vegetables, and Marnie kindly made us a vegan-friendly breakfast when we asked. They also have chickens for fresh eggs. It's a beautiful space, and the hosts are welcoming. I wish we'd stayed longer and had more time to get to know them. I'd recommend it to anyone after a peaceful place to stay.
