Hilton Garden Inn - Flagstaff

The staff were fantastic and kind, and it was easy to drive downtown. There are lots of places to eat within walking distance, and the breakfast buffet was good. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the very small fitness center still did the job. The room was clean, and I liked having a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. The elevator was a little slow. The pillows were very flat and the beds weren’t completely comfortable, but I’d stay again.

As a Hilton Honors member, I appreciated the $10 credit toward the $14.99 breakfast. It’s convenient and reasonably priced, especially when you want to eat before driving to the Grand Canyon or Meteor Crater instead of searching around town. The service was friendly and efficient, and my room was clean, quiet, and had a very comfortable bed. The property is well maintained and felt like a reliable Hilton stay, with easy access to Flagstaff. A comfortable base for exploring Northern Arizona.

The view was beautiful, with pine trees that reminded me a lot of Lake Tahoe. Breakfast was very good, and the staff took care of everything we needed without us having to ask. Everyone was great, from the front desk and servers to the people who prepared the rooms. I’ve included room photos so you can see how neat they were, though I left some bags in the picture. A fantastic example of what the Hilton Inn has to offer.

The hotel is nice, and the staff are fantastic in person. I rated it four stars because the service was great aside from the person who told me there was a restaurant on site. I called ahead because I wanted to stay in and not drive, but what they have is a lounge selling beer from a refrigerator, not a full restaurant. Nearby restaurants are easy to find, though. It also got really loud, with people partying all night, so I called the front desk at 1:30 a.m. I’d say the three-star overall rating is pretty accurate.
