I drove to the hotel and wasted time and gas for a meeting with manager Dakcota Rodriguez, who apparently canceled without contacting me by email or phone. He didn’t come out to explain what happened either, and had a front desk agent tell me instead. I don’t think he’s fit to manage. The owner should reassess whether he can properly do the job, since he clearly can’t handle the functions needed for leadership.

My room was clean, modern, and well appointed, and this property is a gem. I had a sticky mixup at check-in, but Kayla at the desk brought it to manager Taylor, and they resolved it quickly. They were patient and gracious throughout. Hilton corporate should be proud to have such dedicated people representing them. It was the best customer service I’ve had in a long time at a Hilton.

The lobby is spacious, and the courtyard is another nice place to hang out. I also liked that the hotel is clearly family friendly. Breakfast was overwhelming, though, since it serves two hotels and gets crowded. The indoor pool area is small with limited seating, and the water still gets cold.

We arrived late, needing an affordable room just for the night, and found this great hotel. It’s spotless, reasonably priced, pet friendly, and the staff are lovely. The amenities were great too, so we decided to stay an extra night, see the Grand Canyon, and come back to enjoy the place. We’ll absolutely return! :)
