We were stuck at the Fairfield for three days during a serious ice and snow storm, and the staff made the stay easier. They were friendly, helpful, and kept the place clean. We saw them often while we hunkered down, and the woman who manages the dining area was a delight each morning. Nick Tarlton, the manager, was great too. Our home lost power for more than 25 hours, but the Fairfield kept both power and internet. We chose it because it was on a main road and might stay powered, since we don’t have a generator at home. The breakfast was a highlight for me: eggs with bacon or sausage, a pancake bar, and lots of cereal and granola. We had a king room with tasteful decor, plenty of spots to charge devices, and a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was especially nice, with a large shower, lots of room, and an LED-lit mirror. The pool area was closed for updates, but the gym had new equipment and plenty of workout options. It’s easy to get to from I-26 and makes a good base for western North Carolina’s sights and mountain destinations. We chose it based on the reviews and location, and highly recommend it.

Convenient to the highway, but there wasn’t too much road noise. The rooms were large and in good shape, with comfortable beds, and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was good quality and complimentary. One of the best Fairfield locations I’ve stayed at, and I’d happily come back.

I was here for five nights on a business trip and was really impressed. The hotel was beautiful, with lovely rooms, fall decorations, and a wonderful smell throughout. The staff were warm and welcoming. I’d recommend staying here and will definitely be back.

The rooms were great and the beds comfy, and the front desk was friendly and efficient at check-in and whenever we needed help. Breakfast was the usual continental spread, though my son loved the waffle and pancake maker. We expected a small indoor pool, but its condition was disappointing and made me hesitate to use it. Please resurface the bottom.
