Best Western Corona Hotel & Suites

My husband and I loved our beautiful room, which made the trip feel special. Everyone was welcoming from the moment we arrived, and the hospitality was a 10/10. The woman who helped with our reservation was a star, though I didn't catch her name. Thank you for everything. We hope to stay again on our next trip to California!

The traffic outside was loud through the night because my room was right by the freeway, and the room itself, though clean, felt very dated. I travel often for work, and even though this location is convenient for our office, I'd rather deal with traffic than stay here again. The exterior walkways were covered in cigarette butts and garbage, and the sidewalks and stairs looked like they hadn't been pressure washed in a long time. No one was friendly or helpful. I also had no bath towels in the room. When I asked at the lobby, I got a random mix of what seemed to be floor towels and tiny bath towels. It all felt neglected and poorly managed.

My family used to stay here often, but never again. At 9 a.m., a male housekeeper walked into our room without knocking and stood there looking at my 12-year-old in a sports bra for several seconds. Once I got over the shock, I told him to get out. The hotel took no responsibility and treated me disrespectfully, making me out to be the problem. Nick, the manager, brushed off my concern and completely defended his employee. The way the Best Western staff handled it was disgusting, unprofessional, and embarrassing. Nick refused a full refund and agreed to only half, saying, “I enjoyed half the stay.” What a joke. I also saw other reviews mentioning Christine's bad attitude. It seems nothing was done about it, and the hotel doesn't care about guest feedback.

I was glad to arrive on 2/17/26. The place was clean, and there was plenty of handicap parking out front for my senior, disabled mom. My sister booked a King suite with a couch pull-out since Mom always stays at a Best Western, and we were taking her to Glen Ivy for the day. With three people on the reservation, you'd think the pullout would be made up or at least have pillows and bedding ready. There were only two bath towels too. We also had some service issues, bad attitudes, and misunderstandings. The worst part was the second night. After a full day out and dinner, we got back late and exhausted. I went to bed early, but at 9 p.m. I woke to kids running all over the upper floor, going up and down the stairs, playing tag, and yelling for nearly half an hour. I've stayed in lots of hotels and been on cruises, and normal noise from adults or kids has never bothered me. I know quiet hours may not start until 10, but this went on after 9, and I wondered if there were rules about disruptive behavior or running on the stairs. After 9:30, I went downstairs because the room phone wouldn't connect to the front desk. The employee said she couldn't do anything because the kids don't listen and she didn't know their parents. When I said hotels and motels should have guidelines for that kind of disruption, she replied, “yeah well that’s why we are a hotel, not a motel. So there are kids here”. I wasn't complaining about kids being there or ordinary hotel noise, but about the running and shouting. I asked another worker about the policy in the morning and got the same response. It was wild and unprofessional. I'll find somewhere else when I visit Glen Ivy.
