Motel 6 Orange, CA - Anaheim

The bed was comfortable, and both the towels and sheets were clean, though the sheets had stains. I was disappointed there was no coffee in the morning. It's pet friendly. Before dusk I spotted a coyote across the street, behind the other hotel.

There's a gas station next door for snacks, and the room was fine for a cheap overnight stay. Just know the motel sits under SNA's approach path, so the jet noise is pretty significant from around 6am to midnight.

Krimal and his family run a very organized place. The staff, including the grandfather, are friendly, efficient, and quick to help with accommodations. Our two dogs enjoyed the hospitality too. After we lost a reservation at another place, finding this motel in the middle of the night without much research felt like a real blessing. This is my third week here. Parking is convenient, both off street and on the street, where it's often shaded. You can often park just 20 or 30 feet from your room, which made it easy to step out in the middle of the night or keep an eye on the car. Anaheim Police and Orange police regularly patrol because the city line runs down the middle of the street. There haven't been any car break-ins or tenant issues while I've been here. For me, this is the best affordable dog friendly motel in Orange County, especially with so much happening nearby in Anaheim.

Coke seems to be common here. I know that's down to the people who come here, not the staff, but the place should have some kind of filter. I'm not bringing my kids back.
