We’ve been coming back to The Blue Mist for years, and that bit of nostalgia is part of the appeal. Krisan, the manager, was helpful and even extended a veteran discount to our group. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

That bed was so worn and bowed that springs stuck out, so I had to use my own bed roll and sleep on the floor. The linens were badly stained, and the fire extinguisher was expired. There was even a small turd and skid marks in the toilet. I’ve taken plenty of road trips and never been this disgusted or disappointed with a place to stay. I’m not usually one to leave reviews, but I couldn’t let this go. Jeepers.

We came to ride the ATV trails at Box Canyon and stayed two nights. The older motel was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the showers had hot water. The guy was friendly, pointed us toward the Canyon and suggested places to eat. He also let us leave our truck and trailer beside the parking lot wall at no extra charge. We’d stay again.

The pool was empty, and the ice machine was just a giant paperweight, so all we had was warm tap water in a $110 room. It felt like a trip back to 1965. When we checked in, it was 111 outside and the room felt about 102 with the AC off. After dinner and an hour of running the AC, it was still around 98. I'm not coming back.

A basic, dated motel, but the room was very clean and quiet, and it met my expectations. The evening staff were accommodating. I’d stay here again.
