SureStay Hotel by Best Western Floresville

They charged me $440 at check-in instead of the original $280, an extra $160. The rooms weren't any better: the beds were uncomfortable, and the water quality and pressure were poor. They advertise a hot breakfast, but all they put out were stale muffins. The Wi-Fi was awful too, so if you need to work, bring a good hotspot. One of the worst hotels I've stayed in. I'd give it zero stars if I could.

We stayed with our kid, and were charged for three nights of pet fees even though the pets weren't there for three nights. No one told me they were charging the card, and the front desk was rude. We couldn't even have friends hang out, despite being extremely quiet. Definitely wouldn't recommend. Don't call it pet friendly and then charge someone's card without permission.

The running water is the one thing I dislike here. Sink and shower water both smell pretty bad. Even after using nice-smelling shower soap, I still feel dirty and smell nasty.

This is the issue that really gets under my skin: after checkout, they added $15 to my bill for washcloths they said were stolen. I emailed them and never heard back. I understand padding a bill, but being called out and then ignored like a ghost is awful. There were a few other problems with the place too.
