Coral Roc Motel

The manager is such a sweetheart, and she made sure we had what we needed. She also kept an eye on my kids in the pool so they were safe. The rooms were clean and the prices were very fair. Please don't judge this motel only by its reviews. Some guests get upset when staff enforce the COVID-19 rules, which are there to keep everyone safe. Management is just doing its job. There are always a few people who won't follow the rules and then post something negative. I've had a much better experience here than at the other motels nearby, especially Super 8. Its staff were rude, they charged a $50 deposit that I never got back, and they wouldn't check on me or clean my room when I needed something. Give this motel a try. You won't be disappointed, and you'll thank me later. Thanks for your service. I'll definitely come back.

People were hanging around all over the property, outside the rooms, and the bathroom was a mess. Dirt was all over the bathtub, there was a puddle behind the bathroom door, and there wasn't any soap. A rag was left on the shower rod, and the toilet paper looked like the previous guest's roll. We ran out that same night, and there wasn't another roll anywhere. The vending machines outside were empty when we went looking for water. The room did have hot water and a working TV, but I would never stay here again and don't recommend it. The front desk woman was nice, but she asked for a $100 cash deposit. When I asked where that was mentioned, she said it was in the booking information, then dropped it when we said we didn't have the cash. I checked afterward and couldn't find that requirement anywhere, which seemed suspicious. This was the worst hotel I've stayed at.

The staff are great, and I love the energy here. The pool always looks sparkling clean and inviting, and the parking area and sidewalk are kept clean too. It has a washer and dryer, and pets are allowed, which is great. The place has come a long way since a few years ago.

We left our cash deposit and walked away because there was no staff at checkout. Other guests had left passports and driver's licenses behind, and some were stuck waiting for hours for someone to return. They'd asked us for an extra $10 key deposit, or our ID. I wish I could give this place zero stars. The rooms are nonrefundable, even if you arrive to find women's underwear and a bra on the bed, used unsanitary items in the bathroom, and dirty sheets and pillowcases. They still won't return your money so you can stay somewhere else.
