Sleep Inn & Suites Foley - Gulf Shores North

The price was great, and I didn’t have to spend a big chunk of what I came to earn. The front desk service was awesome. The young woman was sweet and patient while I kept going back to the car for things in my wallet, one trip at a time, after apparently leaving my brain five hours away at home. The room was nice and very clean, though I’d give it four stars because the A/C never gets cold enough for me and the bed was too soft. The location gets three stars because of traffic from the restaurant and grocery store next door. I’d recommend it to anyone visiting Foley for work or vacation. It’ll be my go-to when I’m here for work.

This felt like a one-star hotel charging four-star prices, which I can’t accept. Cheap air freshener was sprayed heavily through the main areas, while the room itself had a strong musty, moldy smell. The curtains carried that odor too and need replacing. The chair was filthy, with black spots underneath the cushion and along the sides. There were also several slightly different versions of the same paint color around the room.

The front desk staff were amazing. The rooms are a little dated, but decent for a short stay. A bit of touch-up would make the hotel much better. Highly recommend.

I had a long layover and stayed here. It was quiet and comfortable enough for the price, though it’s not luxurious. I’d come back.
