InTown Suites Extended Stay Atlanta GA - Forest Park

This place gave me a safe spot to rest, reset, and think about what comes next during a transition in my life. It was peaceful, and I'd stay again. My room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, and the staff were respectful and helpful when I needed something. The location also made it easy to find food, transportation, and get around the city.

Apart from the money issues, the room was nice and the stay itself was good. No hard feelings, God bless, but I won't support this location again because of the small rooms and what felt like financial scams by management. My first week, I paid $383.00 with taxes for a premium upgraded one-bed room. The next week I was charged $393.00, nearly $400, even though the paper said my next payment would be $337.00. They also kept my $50.00 deposit because of a late checkout. The manager had told me I could stay until noon to check out or make a payment, and I left at noon. I cleaned the room myself, but they said the deposit was nonrefundable because I left trash for housekeeping to do their job.

I mind my own business, use the designated smoking areas, and keep to myself. Treat people with respect and you get respect back. Chantelle has helped me more than once, and I'm truly thankful. She's professional and helpful, and all the staff are helpful too. People should remember this is a business and they're here to do a job. I have no complaints.

I'm disappointed about how this has gone. I paid for an extra week, but after a clerk complained a second night about my car charging, he said management wouldn't let me renew. My electric car has a low charge and needs charging at home and in public. I added Christmas lights so no one would trip. The office was closed, and one of the male clerks came by and asked me to unplug it. I couldn't, since I needed as much charge as possible to get to work or close to it. I've charged at a hotel before. I couldn't find a policy saying charging wasn't allowed if it was accessible from the first floor and posed no danger. I'm also trying to avoid the clerk who walks around the premises. I've had a creep enter my room in the morning at another location, and this clerk makes me uncomfortable too. I'd prefer male guest-service or security staff not get too close before service hours begin. The first person who entered my room was maintenance staff, after he'd fixed something there the night before. I heard the first clerk had let my ex into my room while I was at work. I don't know why he would have a key. Maybe the other clerk just resents me because people are giving the car or the lights the evil eye. I hear some people don't pay. Imagine if I pay my room fees, but a clerk doesn't, yet charges me extra for using my room effectively. The eviction paper's reasons don't fit what happened. There was no open fire, the equipment had been tested and certified safe, and these cars are made to plug in at home. Nothing was hanging on my sprinkler.
