Days Inn

The room's air conditioner leaked water onto the floor, and no maintenance person ever showed up after Michele called. We were exhausted from work, so we decided to stay in the room. She did inspect it and offered to contact maintenance or arrange a room change. I also had trouble with Wyhdham rewards, and she tried to help with that too. The only reason I'd return is Michele. She went out of her way to make us comfortable, was pleasant and helpful, and even recommended somewhere to eat nearby. Thank you, Michele.

We came from Michigan hoping to find an affordable place to visit Venice Beach, and the property is wonderfully close to the beaches and well kept. Thanks, Ray, you're wonderful. If mall shopping is what you want, stay home. For affordable sunsets on the gulf coast, stay at Travelodge by Wyndham Venice.

I had a two-night reservation, but someone at the front desk canceled the second night while I was away at church. When I returned, I couldn't get into my room. Staff said another employee had canceled it, claiming I had requested that, which I hadn't. Headquarters then said I had called it in, also untrue. They told me a refund for a cancellation I never made would take 5 to 7 business days. This kind of situation is unacceptable.

It's not a bad place, but I wish they'd fix up the rooms a bit more. A guy with a master key tried to get in, and I can't figure that one out.
