Mountain Shadows Retreat

Being able to stay in the beautiful house with our closest friends and family on-site meant so much to us. The ceremony site is incredible, and we'll treasure those memories for the rest of our lives. We couldn't be happier that we chose Mountain Shadows Retreat for our May 2026 wedding. Susanne and Brian were wonderful to work with as we planned, and Scena, our coordinator, made the day stress-free and brought our ideas to life. She's really funny, too. The team has a great relationship with vendors who know the venue and how to keep the day running smoothly. Everyone was kind and pleasant to work with. We can't say enough good things about this venue. Thank you, and we'd highly recommend it!

The venue is breathtaking, with the flexibility to hold events indoors or outdoors. That gave us real peace of mind while planning during the winter months, future brides, take note! Mountain Shadows was the perfect place for our wedding, and it felt like the best place on earth for such a meaningful day. We loved having our wedding party travel from near and far and getting to spend so much time together making memories we'll cherish forever. From the start, working with Scena and Suzanne was a dream. Their warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made everything feel seamless and stress-free. I felt completely at ease knowing we were in such capable hands, and I'm so grateful for the incredible people who helped make this the best day of our lives. Mountain Shadows is an experience, not just a venue, and we're incredibly blessed we chose it.

The four-day retreat stay was a highlight, turning our wedding into a long celebration. There were plenty of rooms, including adorable, cozy tiny homes, so our friends and family from out of town could stay on-site. It felt like a four-day party, and our guests couldn't stop talking about the relaxed, beautiful atmosphere. Months later, our family is still talking about the wedding, and we're trying to get more friends to marry here so we can return! We chose Mountain Shadows in Foresthill for our wedding and couldn't imagine a better place to begin our lives together. In the middle of June, we had sunny weather and 75° days. The location among Foresthill's lush forests and rolling hills made a breathtaking backdrop for the ceremony. Looking back, we know we made the right choice.
