The Country House Inn

The house had a nostalgic feel, and my wife loved its look. Great communication and really friendly service, plus the location is close to the bars. Parking was easy to find, and coffee, cups, and ice were plentiful. The backyard was inviting, with seating and cornhole set up. The price was reasonable for the area. Thanks, Frank!

The house has loads of charm, and our room was clean and well cared for. There’s a lovely downstairs common area, especially the outdoor garden, and the whole place has a beautiful atmosphere. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to popular bars and restaurants, so it worked well for a night out. Check-in was easy, and messaging with the staff was really convenient. I’d definitely stay again.

This quaint vintage building has lovely gardens and great outdoor spaces. We especially liked the communal sitting room, where we spent time with friends, and the shared hallway fridge worked fine. Dedicated parking was a real plus. It’s also in a perfect spot, one block from the public market and the walkable part of State Street. The bed was spotless, inviting, and comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, though the water pressure was marginal, the shower temperature was hard to balance, and the toilet sat crooked. It was still nice enough. For the price and location, this is definitely the best place to stay in this part of town.

Olivia was a wonderful host and looked after us before and throughout our stay. We spent one night in the Penthouse at De La Vina Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the amenities were good, and the location was close to restaurants and shops. On-site parking was convenient too. One thing needs attention: the toilet door was stuck and wouldn’t close. Staff should check that everything works before guests arrive. Thank you, De La Vina Inn.
