Motel 6 Forsyth, GA – Tift College

I spent the last of my money booking a night here after a funeral, but they wouldn't check me in. Motel 6 customer service and the third party both refused too, and none of them would refund me. I paid just to sleep outside. The front desk agent said the manager wouldn't accept the extra money I'd saved for the deposit to help me get a room. After all those calls, they gave me 15 minutes to leave. Don't book here, it's a scam. I'm in Georgia, so I wouldn't be surprised if prejudice was involved. I'm not saying that without reason: a guy had to speak to a lady named Anya or something from Motel 6, and callously asked her, “do you want me to say it in your own language,” even though the woman I'd just spoken to spoke English well. His name is Daniel and his coworker was Andy.

The staff were friendly, but I wouldn't stay again. I was traveling home from Florida for one night, and the hotel was conveniently just off I75. Construction next door meant I couldn't park in front of my room. There was no coffee or tissues in the room, and no breakfast. I couldn't get cold water from the tap either. The desk chair was beat up and frayed.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean, and the woman at the front desk was very nice and had us checked in within a few minutes. We were in room 131, where parking was tight because of a construction fence. Weed smell was coming from outside and through the bathroom vent.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds. During the day, traffic noise is unpleasant, but it gets quiet at night. The hotel is right beside the interstate, and a west-facing room gives you a beautiful sunset view.
