They kept contacting us before checkout, even though there was still time. The housekeeping supervisor knocked 20 minutes early, then knocked every five minutes, and the front desk called 15 minutes before checkout as well. The staff were very rude and ignorant, and didn’t let guests rest.

When I arrived, the lock on my first room didn’t work, and the flooring was peeling up and sticking to my feet, like stick and peel tiles. I asked for another room, but that one had cracks and holes all over the walls. Several pieces of furniture were held together with tape, and aluminum foil was holding the bathroom towel rod together. The water was brown, so we couldn’t use it. We melted ice just to brush our teeth before bed. Our sheets weren’t clean or properly made, and had several urine colored stains. I didn’t feel safe or clean there.

We left with a family of roaches in our suitcase. When we reported it to the office, they handed us a can of bug spray. The place was very dirty, and the parking lot felt sketchy. There’s no A/C inside the buildings, only in the rooms, and they’re stingy with the ice machine.

The room was clean, though the bed was hard and it could’ve used another pillow. It was too noisy, with interstate traffic and kids crying across the hall.
