Ocean View Lodge

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, the staff were amazing, and the room was exceptionally spotless. They had delicious local coffee and a choice of ceramic mugs or insulated cups. I loved taking one of the cups on a chilly morning walk along the paved path. I already booked another stay for the near future, with a different bed this time. The honeymoon suite's round bed looked fun and fancy, but it was terribly uncomfortable, and the sheet wouldn't stay on, which felt a bit unhygienic. They offered to move us at check in, but we figured it might be fine. It wasn't. I also found the decor a bit tacky. I feel a little guilty giving four stars because the place is fabulous otherwise.

We had a wonderful experience, with the best hotel view we've had. The quiet atmosphere and the beach view made the stay special, with few tourists and people walking around, so we could enjoy the scenery on our own while watching the sunrise and sunset. The beach is so close that a short walk gives you the full view.

Being right by the ocean is the big draw here, with great views and the town's useful places close by. Our room was spacious and very clean. The check-in staff were fine, though they didn't seem especially familiar with local activities.

The ocean view from our upstairs room with a spa was gorgeous, and we could sit on the balcony and watch the waves. The beach is about 400 yds along the path. Rooms were spotless, and the office staff were friendly and polite. If we asked for something, they got it. The price felt very competitive for being closer to the ocean than most places.
