Haven Hotel - Fort Lauderdale Airport

Haven Hotel worked really well for our night before a cruise. The room was on the small side, but clean, modern, and well kept, and just right for a couple flying in the night before. Being close to FLL airport and Port Everglades made the trip simple and stress free. The staff were friendly and attentive. I’d recommend it to anyone cruising out of Fort Lauderdale.

At first glance I worried, but the rooms turned out clean and had WiFi, TVs, and AC. Breakfast was complimentary, parking was good, and the family who runs the place were so kind and hardworking. There’s a sweet outdoor area with a fountain and little lights where you can sit and enjoy the air. It’s centrally located near restaurants, downtown areas, and convenience stores. They check whether you need cleaning or extra towels during your stay. We had two days between a cruise and this was a good little place for the price. I’d recommend it.

The rooms are tiny, modern, and cute, with a little TV, desk, and sink. That was fine by me. I felt safe and comfortable, the staff were friendly, and it’s cheap. The beds were great. The highway and town are both very close. I’ve stayed in hotels three times worse in Pompano for $10 more, so the extra 22 minute drive is worth it.

We felt safe and it was quiet, so I’d stay here again for one night before a cruise, though not longer. The room was a bit dated and stuffy at night because of poor ventilation. Hot water and water pressure were barely there. Still, the price was much lower than other properties nearby, which cost at least double. It’s also close to convenience stores and plenty of fast food places and restaurants.
