The location is amazing, just a minute's walk from the beach, and the rate is affordable. Our room was clean, though it could use a few small repairs or updates. There weren't many amenities, but what they had was enough. For the price, you can't beat being this close to the beach and having a clean room.

We had a really good stay here for the price. The room was roomy, clean, and quiet, and from the second floor we could see the ocean. The beach is just a block away. By the pool, there's an enclosed area they call the “living room,” with a couch, chairs, and a TV, plus spare towels and toiletries if you need them. I'd definitely recommend it.

The apartment was modern and clean, and the location in Ft. Lauderdale was ideal, close to the beach and lots of good places to eat. We also enjoyed the fantastic ocean views from the second-floor patio area. Toiletries and pool towels were provided, and parking out front was available for an extra fee. After a small check-in misunderstanding, manager Victor was attentive and made sure we had a good stay. We were only there two nights, but we'd come back when we're in the area. The pool chairs could use replacing.

We booked fairly late and paid about $160-170 a night, while nearby hotels in the next price tier were around $300-400 or more. For that price, I'd stay here again, as long as I knew to expect a comfortable, basic hotel rather than anything luxurious. The location is the main draw: the beach is a block away, with other attractions close by, and the hotel is a strong value compared with its much pricier neighbors. The pool and grounds were clean and in nice condition, and the little rooftop sitting area with lounge chairs and a beach view was a lovely spot to relax with snacks or drinks. Communication was easy through the web portal, text, WhatsApp, or whichever method you prefer, and the team was usually responsive to requests. If you need to speak with someone in person, you have to go next door to the Fortuna property during a limited window, around 9am-4pm or so. That was a little confusing with our late check-in, but they did provide instructions for the gate code and retrieving our key from the lockbox outside the door. The living room area in front also has beach towels and toiletries available. Parking was $20 per night, which didn't seem too bad. I was initially concerned because some parking spots looked like they could box in another car, but the hotel specifically says not to park behind anyone, so it wasn't a real issue. It could happen, I suppose, but I doubt it would be common, and if it did, I'd expect it to be sorted quickly. The room cleaning policy is worth knowing about. We stayed five nights, which qualified us for one free cleaning. Additional cleanings cost $30 at the time I wrote this, and I don't know how the schedule works for longer stays. It wasn't a major problem, and fresh towels are still available in the living room area, but I hadn't noticed the policy when booking. The shower was our biggest frustration. The fixed shower head doesn't swivel, so you end up huddling in a corner to wash, and the water pressure was just okay. Our handle was very loose and hard to use when adjusting the temperature. The outside gate keypad is also very dark and takes some getting used to. Still, this was a good affordable option that let us save money for food and other experiences. I'd happily stay again and hope they update the shower and keypad.
