The location was the best part, very close to the beach. We stayed two nights before a cruise. The room was basic, spacious, and clean, with an adequate bathroom, though the shower sprayed onto the curtain and the water drained slowly. The first night was quiet and restful. At 2 a.m. on the second night, someone came into the room above us and walked around in loud shoes for at least 90 minutes. We called the desk, but got voicemail, and it took about 40 minutes for the noise to stop. It was a really rough night. Checkout is at 10 a.m.

We paid the $412 total when we arrived for our two-night stay, which we'd booked months earlier at a little over $200 per night. We were happy with the stay and expected to return until we noticed another $344 charge made the day before arrival. My wife happened to look over our monthly charges and spotted the two separate transactions. I couldn't find a number to call and dispute it, and the website said it was under construction. Very disappointing.

The place was quiet, clean, and just steps from the beach, which made it a great spot for a relaxing, affordable getaway. The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome. I loved my stay and will definitely come back.

The stay itself was quiet and enjoyable, and the price was decent. But afterward, a staff member called me rudely about using the rollaway bed in the room. She said they normally charge for it and compared using it to being homeless. I had been polite, and she kept insulting me for no reason. At no point during booking, check-in, or the stay had anyone said there was a fee, and there was no sign. The call didn't even mention that they would charge me, but they later took $100 without warning. I shouldn't have to guess whether something already in the room costs extra. It feels scammy, and they've lost me as a repeat customer. I recommend spending your money elsewhere if you don't want to deal with unprofessional staff.
