Breakfast was the weak spot during our stay. They were out of waffles, the kind this brand usually serves, and Philadelphia-style cream cheese, so the buffet felt incomplete. At first there weren’t any plates either. We waited about five minutes before they came out. When I asked about the missing food, the staff member just said it was gone, without offering any more information. The service felt unprepared and the meal was disappointing. Better restocking and clearer, more helpful answers from the breakfast staff would make a real difference. The rest of the property was clean and well cared for, with easy, plentiful parking. Its central location made it convenient to walk to attractions and other amenities, and the sidewalks and pedestrian paths made getting around feel pleasant and safe. The nearby bridge and surrounding infrastructure add to the neighborhood’s appeal. There’s also a spacious, inviting lobby where you can sit or work. A tidy, convenient option for leisure or business.

We loved starting each morning with a walk to Shift Coffee Shop. The rooms were clean, and the location worked perfectly for our weekend. It was extremely busy when we arrived, but Brianna at the front desk handled things with patience and kindness. She was lovely all weekend, and David was very hospitable too.

The room was clean and nice, but we nearly couldn’t check in because the hotel’s system was down when we arrived. It took about an hour to come back, and I felt for the staff with people complaining around them. Breakfast was another problem. At 7am there were no plates, just paper cereal bowls, and the sausage was inedible, even though the food should have been fresh. My kids could hardly manage to eat waffles out of those little bowls. Please improve the breakfast options and keep plates stocked.

I was extremely disappointed with both the hotel and Hilton. There was no hot water for showers, and at 7am I called the front desk five times without an answer. I went down and saw the woman at the desk while the phones rang, but she didn’t pick up. She handed me keys to three different rooms, so I had to keep going back and forth with my 8-year-old to see whether any had hot water. It was disgusting. By 8am the continental breakfast had run out of milk, so my kid couldn’t have cereal and we left to eat elsewhere. The staff were rude, and when I checked in they didn’t acknowledge my Hilton Honors level or offer water. Before leaving, I asked the front desk employee to have the manager call me because I wanted a refund. I saw her write it in a book, but nobody called. I also complained directly to Hilton. They said over the phone they would get back to me, but they haven’t either. Treat your customers better.

The breakfast area was a letdown and nowhere near the quality I usually get at Hilton hotels. I also had trouble getting towels after returning from an event. I called the front desk more than once and got no answer, then asked through the chat feature. The representative had to contact the desk for me, and by the time anyone responded, I’d fallen asleep. Brianna at the front desk was unprofessional both during the night and again at checkout. Her tone and manner weren’t appropriate for a Hilton property. I left very dissatisfied with the service and professionalism here. It was one of my most disappointing Hampton Inn stays.
