Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort Myers Airport

We arrived late after a flight and left just after breakfast the next morning, so we mostly needed a place to sleep. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s close to the airport. The hotel recommended Night Owl Taxi since its shuttle doesn’t run after 11 PM, and the taxi service was great too.

For a three-star hotel, this exceeded my expectations. It’s not fancy, but everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the friendly, attentive staff made a good impression. The kitchenette was a welcome surprise, with basic utensils, a full-size sink, and a full-size fridge and freezer. The shower was roomy and had good pressure. I also hadn’t noticed the heated salt water pool when I booked, so finding it behind the hotel with a large patio was a nice bonus. Breakfast was hot, included, and varied a little from day to day. A really good meal to have included.

I was in town for work for about 30 days. It was a clean, quiet place to stay, with good breakfast and excellent staff throughout. I’d recommend it for a short visit or an extended stay, and I’ll come back.

The front desk helped us change a third-party booking, which made our holiday better. We really appreciated it. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the mini kitchen was practical for a family staying longer.
