Econo Lodge Inn & Suites near Chickamauga Battlefield

We made this our staycation spot and loved it. The price was insanely good, management was super nice, and the owner is a sweet guy. We'll be back a lot.

I was stranded in an unfamiliar area with a child and out in the cold after our other lodging fell through. I called to ask when the earliest check-in was, but the front desk worker or manager hung up before I could get more than a couple of words out. They seemed to think it was too early to answer calls. The person was very rude, and I couldn't even get a reservation or pricing question answered.

There were cigarette holes in the blankets, the shower head was covered in mold or mildew, and the smell was atrocious. The TV didn't work, and we were told to wait until 1 a.m. for maintenance. When we said that was too late and asked for another TV, a different room, or a refund, they refused and tried to make us leave without returning our money. I called the sheriff's office, and someone showed up promptly and replaced the cable box. We finished our stay without anything else happening, but the whole ordeal left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Roaches running all over the place, the water doesn't work, and there are cigarette holes in the bedding. Absolutely gross. The owners are awful, arrogant people who treat guests like peasants.
