3 Palms - Fort Pierce

Even with the hotel nearly full, it stayed pretty quiet, and we had a pleasant visit. The tile floors were a nice change from carpet, and the room both looked and smelled clean. The AC worked well, the beds were comfortable, and the pillows were soft. Staff were great too. We’ll come back.

The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of counter space. The fridge and freezer were huge, almost as tall as me. But the floor felt slimy and turned my kids’ feet black, while a strong cleaner smell stayed in the room all night. When we arrived, nobody was working and we waited about 5-10 min. A note saying when the worker would be back would’ve helped. This is a motel style place, with outside access rather than indoor hotel corridors.

There are lovely plants and trees all around, and the kids enjoyed the pool. Housekeeping was great. Jenna went beyond her duties, and I really appreciate her. I’d recommend her to anyone. Home inn is one of the best hotels in the area.

The cruise fell through when we couldn’t find one of our birth certificates after arriving, even though we were sure we’d packed both. We had two copies of mine instead, and the whole trip was canceled with no refund. We don’t blame the cruise line, but it was still a huge disappointment. We originally came here for one night before the 10 hour drive home, then stayed an extra night. It’s beautiful, near plenty of places we could walk to, including restaurants, and the staff were extremely friendly. Maria at the front desk was especially kind and helped make a really awful experience better. I’d recommend this economical place to anyone visiting Florida who wants a great atmosphere and a stay not too far from the beach.
