La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Mobile Satsuma / Saraland

The room and bathroom were clean, and the shower had good pressure. The front desk staff were quick, friendly, and professional. It's right off the highway, with lots of parking and an easy route back onto the highway. There are places to eat nearby, including McDonald's and Waffle House. In winter, though, the room was freezing when we walked in, and the beds had basically just two sheets, no comforter or blanket.

Julie, Tiffany and Joyce were wonderful again, and check-in was fast. The staff are so friendly, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is simple but good. This was our second stay, and I love coming here when I visit my Dad. We'll be back at the La Quinta for sure. Keep up the outstanding job, and see you again soon!

There was debris on the room and hallway floors, stained bed covers, mold on the drapes, a black ring in the toilet, torn and missing carpet, and holes in the wall. The place is badly maintained, and the rooms were filthy. I was afraid to eat the free breakfast. Stay somewhere else. We would have given it zero stars if we could.

Joyce at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my stay, and the staff here are friendly, helpful, and down to earth. I travel for work and have stayed in plenty of hotels, but this is the best one I've been to. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and private, and the price was very affordable. If I'm in the area again, this will be my only choice. I'd recommend giving it a try. You'll thank me when you wake up after a good night's sleep away from home without spending a fortune. Five stars, hands down. I'd give six for employees like Joyce.
