Everything looked sparkling new, and the lobby, hallways, and my room were spotlessly clean. The rooms have recently been remodeled, and the bedding and pillows were comfortable. Bella, Mac, and the rest of the front desk team were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. There’s plenty of free parking and a great restaurant in the building. Highly recommend!

We liked the clean property, pleasant atmosphere, and generally courteous staff, so it’s too bad the deposit issue left such a bad impression. Money was taken from our deposit because hair product transferred onto a pillowcase. It wasn’t hair dye, just regular hair product, and the mark could easily come off with soap and water. I’ve never had a hotel charge me for something so minor, even at 5 star hotels. The charge felt unreasonable and excessive. We otherwise enjoyed our stay, but because of how this was handled, we’ll likely not return.

The hotel has mixed feedback about cleanliness, dated rooms, and maintenance, yet it kept my entire deposit over a slightly damp patch on a sheet. There was no stain, odor, or damage, and I got no explanation, photos, itemized charge, or real conversation. It felt like they were looking for any excuse to keep the money instead of handling it fairly or transparently. Guests have reported musty smells, bugs, and rooms needing deep cleaning, but apparently a washable sheet is where they draw the line. If this was a genuine concern, a normal hotel would document it. This one didn’t. That tells you everything.

All I was trying to do was get a credit card confirmation for my employee, but the front desk representative was discourteous throughout. She sent several emails to my coworker without the required attachment. When we noticed it was missing, I called to ask if she could resend it to another email in case the first was going to spam. Still nothing came through, so I called again to check the address she’d used. It turned out she’d written it down incorrectly. Even after that, she refused to send it to the correct address. She got visibly agitated while I stayed calm and respectful. I wasn’t accusing her of wrongdoing or incompetence, just trying to sort out the document. When I asked about another way to send it, like fax, she dismissed that and said email was the only option. She also insisted she knew her job and suggested I was questioning her competence, which I wasn’t. I asked for a supervisor to help resolve it, but was told none was available and she had to deal with another customer. Resending the email correctly could have settled the matter easily. Instead the whole interaction was hostile and unprofessional. I’ve never been treated this way over a routine business matter. It was frustrating and disappointing.
